Your host and guide is Nic Reid, originally from Oregon, USA, who brings over four years of Nicaraguan surfing experience to Surf Tours Nicaragua, with a heavy focus on the Waves of northern Nicaragua.

Formerly an Alaskan longliner, Nic's passions lie beneath the sea. An avid sport fisherman, PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and accomplished sailor, Nicolas can show you what Nicaragua's north Pacific coast has to offer far beyond its incredible Waves.

Angela, hailing from Idaho, is our Operations Manager. She spent 2 1/2 years in Nicaragua working with Peace Corps before joining our team, and is currently exploring her love of cooking and photography with Surf Tours Nicaragua. Melina, one of our guest cooks and photographer, hails from Quebec City, Quebec. She got the opportunity to work with us for a 10 day tour to help in the kitchen, but her strength was definitely behind the camera. Check out her photos on our Media page, where we published her photos for the "Wine & Cheese" Tour.

Anna, our yoga instructor, hails from Olney, Illinois. We were lucky enough to have her with us for a month of custom-tailored yoga instruction and will be working with her in the future as our yoga offerings expand. She dabbled in surf photography as well. Check out her photos on our Media page. Hers are the "Secret Lovers", "Dirty Dawgs", and the "NYC Nine" tours.

McKenzie, Surf Tours Nicaragua's mascot and Nicolas' right hand is a 2 1/2 year old Labrador Retriever that Nicolas brought with him from the US when he moved permanently to Nicaragua and established his home on Nicaragua's north Pacific coast.

McKenzie has a real nose for good waves and will accompany you during your tour. Not to worry, she is bilingual, and impecibly trained, although she has yet to figure out how to carry your surfboard for you!

Patricio, our official ripping grom semi-pro Nicaraguan, will be your second surf guide. Patricio hails from Las Penitas, Nicaragua. He grew up surfing the silky smooth waves of the north, and it shows in his surfing abilities.

Just 18, he is taking the Nicaraguan surfing scene by surprise, and is challenging the best in the nation in competitions. We are proud to have him along, and do all we can to support his budding surfing career.

Jesse, another guest photographer, hails from Santa Barbara California. Unfortunately, he was only with us for a short 2 days, but he was able to get some KILLER photos of the "Slabernackle" Tour in late June. Check out his photos on our Media page. We hope to coax him back one of these days before he gets too famous as a surf photographer and we can't afford him!
